General warranty conditions
Dear Sir or Madam,
ORIMED guarantees that the offered steel instruments are free from any defects in material and workmanship.
The store provides a 24-month warranty on the supplied instruments from the date of purchase.
The condition for exercising the warranty is using the instruments as intended and ensuring proper preparation, handling, and sterilization in accordance with the information provided in the sterilization instructions.
If a defect is found during the warranty period, please send the sterilized product along with information regarding the type of defect found to the address located in the footer of the general warranty conditions. Please attach a copy of the proof of purchase to the shipment.
The warranty does not cover:
- Wear and tear resulting from normal use (e.g., dulling of instrument blades, wearing of the working part surface, wear of connecting elements and resulting excessive looseness in the joint);
- Improper use, contrary to the intended purpose;
- Mechanical damage resulting from excessive load;
- Corrosion damage (e.g., pitting, surface discoloration) caused by contact with aggressive chemical substances (e.g., salt solutions);
- Improper handling during the cleaning and maintenance process when preparing them for reuse or storage through:
- inappropriate disinfecting and cleaning agents,
- improper use of disinfectants,
- inappropriate washing and cleaning methods,
- lack of maintenance (lubrication) of connecting elements or the use of inappropriate maintenance agents;
- Improper sterilization, e.g., due to inadequate quality of sterilizing steam or incorrect parameters of the sterilization process, etc.;
- Discoloration of hard inserts;
- Attempts to repair on one's own or by an unauthorized service center.
Determining the suitability of an instrument for a given procedure is the responsibility of the user. ORIMED is not liable for damages resulting from the use of instruments in which defects have been found, or which have been subject to any modifications made by the user.
