Measuring instruments

In prosthodontics, thickness gauges are used to measure wax and metal crowns (without the risk of scratching them, e.g. by forceps tips). Their advantage is not only their precise reading, but also their ease of use and their design for a secure hold. Depending on the model, there is a measuring range of 0-100 mm.

The range includes models with a design and operation reminiscent of a compass (Iwanson), as well as those operating on the principle of a caliper (Boley). All our thickness gauges are made from high-quality surgical steel, which ensures safe use and significantly extends the life of the tools. This material is also easily sterilised.
