Purpose: |
Cofferdam instruments are used during dental procedures to completely isolate the treated teeth from saliva access. Most commonly used in endodontic procedures. Cofferdam is a thin rubber sheet in which teeth holes are made with a punch. Using forceps, brackets are placed on the teeth, and then a rubber holder (frame) is attached. |
