General insurance conditions

Out of concern for the satisfaction of our Customers, all Orimed steel instruments purchased in our store are covered by an insurance program. The insurance guarantees, for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, free repair or replacement of an instrument that has been accidentally damaged, e.g., as a result of being dropped.

The insurance does not cover:

• Improper use, contrary to the intended purpose;
• Mechanical damage resulting from excessive load;
• Corrosion damage (e.g., pitting, surface discoloration) caused by contact with aggressive chemical substances (e.g., salt solutions);
• Improper handling during the cleaning and maintenance process when preparing them for reuse or storage through:
  
  • inappropriate disinfecting and cleaning agents,
  • improper use of disinfectants,
  • inappropriate washing and cleaning methods,
  • lack of maintenance (lubrication) of connecting elements or the use of inappropriate maintenance agents;
• Improper sterilization, e.g., due to inadequate quality of sterilizing steam or incorrect parameters of the sterilization process, etc.;
• Discoloration of hard inserts;
• Attempts to repair on one's own or by an unauthorized service center.
